A Tested Patriot. A Defender of Justice. A Visionary for a New Nigeria.

In an evolving society like ours, human rights must be protected not only in law but in practice. The Zamfara State Ministry of Justice has taken deliberate steps to promote legal reforms and human dignity through targeted programs and policies.

Our recently completed 5-day Legal Training Workshop for 55 State Counsel and Paralegal Officers is a testament to our commitment to capacity building in the justice sector. Participants gained insights into efficient civil and criminal case management, enhancing the overall performance of our legal system.

Collaborating for Change:

We actively collaborate with:

  • National Human Rights Commission and ICPC for technical and policy support

  • Shari’a Implementation Committees to harmonize justice delivery with constitutional law

  • Federal Ministry of Justice for alignment with national legal reform strategies

Strategic Legal Reforms:

  • Codification of Laws of Zamfara State: An ongoing project to consolidate and publish all state laws since creation, promoting accessibility and clarity

  • Ministerial Strategic Plan 2024: A roadmap to modernize our legal systems and service delivery

Justice is not a privilege—it is a right. And our Ministry is devoted to defending that right every day.
